Frequently asked questions

What makes a good wedding hashtag?

Short, easy to spell out loud, capitalised at each word (#TheCarterParty) so it reads clearly, and unique: search it on Instagram and TikTok before you print it.

Where do we show the hashtag?

On the save-the-date, a welcome sign at the venue, table tent cards and the bar menu. Guests post more when they see it in three places.

Should we include the year?

Add it when the name-based tag is already in use. #SmithWedding is taken; #SmithWedding27 probably is not.

Is the generator free?

Yes, it runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent to us.
